Ultima goccia / Last drop

During a group exhibition in Florence, the performance takes place behind the large window of a historic palazzo. The artist appears inside her own sculpture, as the tip of a chandelier she has knitted from pink plastic thread. The scene suggests the presence of an intruder: viewers in the square expect a familiar piece of décor, yet encounter something that does not match the usual idea of a domestic interior, but gradually inserts itself and adapts. As in other cycles of performances with knitted forms, the work addresses a search for belonging, observing how a different body can find its place within an already given context.
