From this performance, the artist creates an installation made of 30,000 nylon pot sponges, found in various colours in one-dollar shops and sewn into cords that intertwine into a dense bush, like an invasive plant. The mass of sponges engulfs the artist’s body, leaving only her legs visible, like a trunk supporting the whole structure.
